Liam turned one

Saturday July 14th Liam Michael Bryant turned one! Its such a miracle that he made it through his first year, that we all made it. Its been a rough year and we know we have more trials and tribulations to come, but we are ready to face it head on, as we've done this past year. We are so proud of our son and so greatful that God made us his parents.

In honor of Liam's first birthday and surviving CDH, we threw a party. Liam finnaly got to meet a lot of his family that he hadnt been able to meet before and some close friends and church members.

At Liam's party, we spread awareness and knowledge about CDH. We showed Liam's journey from NICU to one in a slide show and had several display boards explaining CDH and showing his pictures.

We also held a balloon release in honor of Liam's first birthday, as well as in memory of Maddie Spence.

We released 12 blue balloons, and Liam released 1 pink balloon for Maddie.

I had the honor of making the speech to explain the balloon release.

It was very emotional.
